Skills
  • 1
    Developing player experience
Working with game designers to create interesting features.
  • 2
    Creating user and screen flows
Usually in FigJam files. They are very useful for passing information about a feature from department to department. After all, they very clearly show how the player moves around the game, how screens and individual elements change.
  • 3
    Wireframes
Working on the functionality of the screens without working on the visual helps to focus on exactly how the player will interact with the game.
  • 4
    UI design
Elaboration of the appearance of screens based on wireframes. This allows you to make a beautiful visual without ruining the player experience. I not only assemble screens from ready-made assets, but also draw individual elements of the interface.
  • 5
    Interactive prototypes in Figma
A visual image of how the feature works with the ability to follow the user's path without assembling the feature in the game.
  • 6
    Feature preview video
Sometimes it is necessary to show interface effects, transitions between windows and more, and this is not always possible in prototypes. For this I use After Effects.

Biography
I was born in Nizhny Novgorod. Since childhood, I have been fond of drawing, went to art school and art courses. After leaving school, I entered the university to study landscape architecture. This course was not chosen by chance, because here they study the artistic aspect, and biological, and engineering.

After graduating from university, I worked as a landscape designer, but later switched to media design and worked for 3 years on a TV channel creating video and audio content.

Interest in how a person receives and processes information led me to interface design. After working on B2B projects, I decided to move into game development. Here, the interface design can be critical: if the interface is uncomfortable, ugly, incomprehensible, then the player will leave. This challenge makes the work interesting and responsible.
